Young Soul was introduced to music from an early age by his father who would play a variety of genres from Smooth grooves, Motown, Soft rock, R&B. & Electro (to name a few). YS was exposed to classics from the likes of Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Bobby Brown & Jamiroquai. From the age of 11 he would rap for fun with his cousin Danson but he began his musical journey as a recording artist at the age of 14 after a friend of his sadly passed away. After finishing school, He enrolled to a music production course at the age of 16, which is where he started producing his own music & understanding music software Logic. After releasing many music videos & performing at various venues & festivals in the UK including Wembley Arena, he decided to focus on the production side of the music industry which has led to him working with Sony & Warner Music & also many artists around the world, he went on to build his home studio where The YS Box originated, he has now moved into his studio in West London, where he is continuing his operations.  Check out the discography section for a list of his production works.
